This page explains what we collect and why. It needs review by a qualified adviser before launch.

What we collect

• Your email address, so you can sign in and receive messages.
• Your name, and optionally a phone number and postcode, which you choose to add.
• Listings, photos and messages you create.
• For dealer stock feeds, business account details, vehicle registrations, stock references, descriptions, photos and feed import results. We also store the source URL or uploaded stock file and any authentication header needed to read an authorised feed.

What we show publicly

Your first name or business name and the town where a car is. We never show your email, phone number or full postcode.

Dealer stock feeds

We use authorised stock feeds to create and refresh dealer adverts. Business names, dealer profile information and the imported vehicle details and photos are shown publicly. Feed credentials, uploaded source files and import administration are kept on the server and are not made public. Administrators can review rejected rows to help fix an export.

Do not include customer information or other unnecessary personal data in a stock feed. Stock feed data is used to run the listings service, process enquiries and investigate errors or abuse. You can ask us to disconnect a feed or delete account data using the contact below, subject to records we need to retain for legal or security reasons.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].
